Diagnostic ADHD, Autism, Cognitive & Functional Assessments
pSYCHOLOGICAL aSSESSMENT pROCESS
Psychological assessments provide a personalised understanding of your strengths, challenges, and support needs. We offer assessments for ADHD, Autism, cognitive functioning, and functional capacity.
Each assessment is completed in carefully structured stages to ensure the process is thorough, supportive, and tailored to you.
Rebecca works with adolescents aged 16 and over through to adults, ensuring every assessment is developmentally appropriate and aligned with your individual needs.
1. Intake and Screening
90 minutes $300.
Share your background, current concerns, and goals.
Plan the most suitable assessment approach for your needs.
Further assessment pricing is quoted individually after the intake session, based on the complexity of the assessment and reporting needs.
Options range from a brief diagnostic summary letter to a comprehensive written report with detailed findings and personalised recommendations.
Approximate costing ranges from $920 to $2,500.
Assessment fees are not eligible for Medicare rebates.
NDIS and other third-party funding may be accepted where applicable and previously approved.
2. Structured Clinical Interview & Assessment
Further assessment sessions will include a structured interview and one or more standardised assessment tools, depending on your needs and the complexity of your presentation.
Some of the assessment tools Rebecca utilises include:
ABAS – Adaptive Behaviour Assessment System. Evaluates everyday skills needed to function independently.
CAARS – Conners’ Adult ADHD Rating Scales
Assesses adult ADHD symptoms, including inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity.DIVA-5 – Diagnostic Interview for ADHD in Adults & Youth. Structured interview assessing ADHD symptoms in adults and adolescents.
MIGDAS-2 – Monteiro Interview Guidelines for Diagnosing the Autism Spectrum, Second Edition. Assesses traits and behaviours associated with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
SRS-2 – Social Responsiveness Scale, Second Edition. A widely used tool for assessing social behaviour and responsiveness, particularly in individuals with ASD.
WAIS – Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale (for more complex presentations). Measures cognitive functioning, including verbal comprehension, perceptual reasoning, working memory, and processing speed.
3. fEEDBACK
Review assessment findings, presented as a diagnostic letter or full report, as previously agreed following your initial intake session.
Full reports explore practical recommendations for supports, strategies, or further evaluation.
