At Inspired Change Psychology, we understand that unexpected circumstances can arise. However, late cancellations and missed appointments impact both your progress and our ability to support other clients in need.
To ensure fairness and continuity of care, the following policy applies:
1. Notice Required
We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling of appointments.
Notice must be given by phone, email, or via our online booking system (where available).
2. Cancellation Fees
Less than 24 hours’ notice: 50% of the session fee may be charged.
Non-attendance (no show): 100% of the session fee may be charged.
Medicare, TAC, and WorkCover do not cover cancellation fees. These must be paid privately.
3. Exceptions
We understand that emergencies and exceptional circumstances occur. Please contact us as soon as possible if this applies to you. Waiving of fees is at the discretion of Inspired Change Psychology.
4. Repeated Cancellations
Frequent cancellations or non-attendance may affect your ability to book future sessions and may lead to a review of your ongoing engagement with our services.
